Deep Ocean Syncronized Acoustic Recorder
DOSAR is a deep submergence pressure vessel with a hydrophone, pre-amp, and a multi-channel recording system. The system records acoustic signals and time tags GPS synchronized data (employs Chip Scale Atomic Clock). Recovery of the unit is performed through a countdown timer or acoustically actuated burnwire, releasing the system from it's anchor and allowing it to rise to the surface. DOSAR can also be modified to record non-acoustic signals.
Specifications: up to 6000 meters depth, capable of multi-day deployments with built in recovery system. Recording duration is dependant on recorder frequency and number of recorded channels. 128GB standard capacity, around 4 days of continuous recording.

Acoustic Recorder
Our acoustic recorder, repackaged into a more cost-effective shallow water pressure vessel with a hydrophone, pre-amp, and a multi-channel recording system. The Unit can be moored or anchored to free fall to the sea floor. The system records acoustic signals and time tags GPS synchronized data (employs Chip Scale Atomic Clock). Recovery of the unit is performed through a countdown timer or acoustically actuated burnwire, releasing the system to rise to the surface.
Specifications: up to 300 meters depth, capable of multi-day deployments with built in recovery system. Recording duration is dependant on recorder frequency and number of recorded channels. 128GB standard capacity, around 4 days of continuous recording.
